Ahead of the EU Agriculture and Fisheries Council meeting on 26–27 October, Agroecology Europe has published an open letter expressing concern about proposed changes to the post-2027 Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) that could make EU support for organic farming and additional agroecological transition payments optional for Member States.
We call on European and national representatives to oppose these changes and champion a CAP that directs public money towards public goods.
Read the open letter below and share it with your networks to help amplify this call.
