Study programmes in Agroecology in Europe:
European MSc Agroecology (Double degree programme ISARA Lyon, France – NMBU, Norway)

 The European MSc Agroecology is a two-year programme, professionally oriented, to study interactions among agricultural, food and environmental sciences in a socially oriented and action driven perspective.

MSc Agroecology (Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Sweden) 

Using case studies and field experience, the Master´s Programme in Agroecology guides students through a learning process on agriculture as an open system, dependent on its global and regional surroundings, as well as people and local resources. The programme offers a head start for students who seek to work with development or research for agriculture.

MSc Agroecology (Norwegian University of Life Science, Norway) 
The program prepares students for a wide range of positions concerning conventional and organic agriculture and food systems, such as in advisory services and extension, development projects, management of agricultural and natural resources, environmental protection, and further education and research.

MSc Agroecology – Organic Agriculture (Double degree programme ISARA Lyon, France – Wageningen University, The Netherlands) 
In the the master course, students will get the opportunity to understand structure and function of complex agroecosystems. They will learn to apply systems approaches in studying, designing and evaluating (agricultural) systems and food production chains, and to develop creative solutions for sustainable farming and marketing of organic or other quality products. The program teaches a multidisciplinary approach in which natural science is combined with social science. It is aimed at international students with a strong interest in sustainable agriculture and agroecosystem management. The Double Diploma Program Agorecology – Organic Agriculture is designed as a two-year programme curriculum.

A comprehensive and integrative education in all areas of organic farming, as well as the processing and commercialization of organic food is offered by five leading European universities. 

The core of EUR-Organic is comprised of areas of specialisation that enable the students to profit from the different foci of organic agriculture teaching and research of the partner universities. A specialisation in agroecology is offered at one of the partner universities, but agroecology plays an important role in many modules taught at the different universities.
